On Saturday, December 5th the Connecticut Food System Alliance held its winter gathering in Bridgeport. The gathering explored how social justice and systems of oppression intersect with food access. It also shone a light on some of the great work happening around food justice in Bridgeport. The Gathering featured a story telling panel featuring local food justice activists, food, entertainment by Youth Creative Productions, the launch of our new mini-grant program and various workshops! Thank you to everyone who attended!
